We are now in Boppard, Germany. This is Holb’s Biergarten. For those who haven’t figured it out yet, a biergarten is a pub. In fact, one of the signs said it was and Irish pub. And it’s in Germany – go figure.
At any rate, it’s pretty old.
Some doors in Germany seem to be works of art.
This is an old wall that dates back to the Roman occupation.
Another beautiful church. I’m sorry, but I did not get the name of it.
The inside was quite elaborate with many statures and sculptures.
I believe this on depicts the Roman centurion declaring that “Surely this must be the Son of God.”
I believe this must be the baptismal font.
Our next adventure will be a walk through the town of Boppard.
