This is the beautiful bridge that spans Lake Luzern. The structure between the tower and the bridge houses a souvenir shop.
A view of the buildings across the lake.
Note: Starbucks is everywhere!
The view of the bridge from the other end.
Ducks as well as swans inhabited the lake.
This is a plaza area off of one of the main streets.
Roofers just don’t put that much detail into their work anymore! Wonder what that would cost today in the U.S.
One of our friends on the trip loves doors. So I took a lot of door photos.
Statues and fountains are plentiful in Switzerland.
A sidewalk display in front of one of the stores.
Many of the buildings had paintings on the side. The sign near the top was in German, so it didn’t say a lot to me.
On our next installment we will see a little more of Luzern. And then on to Berne, the capitol of Switzerland.
